Eligibility conditions:

TRANSACTIONS CONDITIONS
1) Activating an automatic deposit

Step 1) During the promotional period, set up or maintain one (1) type of Eligible Recurring Direct Deposit into your National Bank chequing account.

Step 2) Have this Eligible Recurring Direct Deposit deposited a minimum of three (3) times to your National Bank chequing account within the promotional period.

When will the $200 gift card be sent to you

If you’ve met all the conditions of the promotion, we will automatically send you a $200 physical gift card by mail no later than two (2) months after the end of the promotional period. We will send the gift card to the address on your National Bank file.

Choice of restaurant where the gift card can be redeemed

The choice of the restaurant where the $200 gift card can be redeemed is at our sole discretion. The selection will be based on, but not limited to, the availability of gift cards, the location of the restaurant in relation to the location of the branch associated with your chequing account, and any other factors deemed relevant. No gift card substitutions are allowed or will be granted.

Other conditions

  • You must be 18 years old at the beginning of the promotional period.
  • A limit of one gift card per client.
  • The total amount of $200 is applicable to a single gift card, at a single restaurant.
  • You must keep your National Bank chequing account in good standing for at least 180 days from the beginning of the promotional period. For the purposes of this promotion, the chequing account is not in good standing if:
    • It has been overdrawn, meaning that it has had a non-authorized negative balance.
    • It has been used in an inappropriate, unauthorized, illegal or abusive manner as described in section 8.7 of National Bank’s deposit account agreement.
  • You must not be employed by National Bank, Canadian Western Bank®, or one of their subsidiaries. Spouses of these employees and retirees are also not eligible. 
  • This promotion may be modified or withdrawn without prior notice.
