This page includes important information about your upcoming migration weekend. To help make this process as smooth as possible, refer to the sections below (before and after migration).

Note that this information is specific to your mutual funds products currently held at Canadian Western Financial. If you hold other products with CWB Financial Group®, please watch for separate communications about how and when those products and services will transition.

Update your contact information
If there have been recent changes to your contact information, especially your email address, reach out to your designated CWF representative to make sure you receive all important communications from CWF and National Bank Savings and Investments (NBSI).
Stay vigilant!
Protect yourself against cyberfraud: National Bank will never proactively call, text or email you to ask for your banking information, especially your one-time verification code number, PIN, password or sign-in credentials.
If you receive an unexpected call from someone claiming to be from National Bank or CWB:
- Do not share your information.
- Obtain the caller’s information.
- Tell the caller you will verify their information.
- End the call.
- Contact National Bank at 1-888-835-6281 or your CWB Relationship Manager using a trusted phone number to verify the information.

After you migrate: What to expect and what to do
It’s now time to set up your online bank and download the mobile app.
Changes to be implemented

Your CWF account(s) will transfer to NBSI. -
Monthly statements:
Once your migration is complete, you’ll be able to see your mutual funds in National Bank’s app and online bank.
Sign in and manage your online bank
If you have a bank account with Canadian Western Bank®, you’ll receive access to National Bank’s app and online bank during the migration of your personal banking products.
If you don’t have a bank account with Canadian Western Bank, you can visit any National Bank branch or call the Client Experience Centre (CEC) at 1-888-270-3941 (toll-free) between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (MT) | 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. (ET), Monday to Friday, after your mutual fund migration to receive access.
Start using your online bank:
- Manage your finances with ease, such as opening a new NBSI account
- Buy, switch and sell National Bank Investment (NBI) funds
- Make contributions to your investment account(s)
- Buy new GICs
- Download your statements and tax slips
- And much more
Important: You may need to meet with your representative to be granted access to all functions. In addition to setting up your profile with us, your representative will also be able to provide investment advice and detailed information on our products and services.

What remains unchanged

Mutual fund holdings:
Unless otherwise notified, the holdings in your mutual fund account(s) will remain unchanged and will be moved in kind. This means there will be no tax consequences upon the transfer, as your investments will not be sold. -
Continuity of service:
Your designated representative for your CWF investment portfolio will remain the same.
